The Koroit and District Historical Society Inc. aims to foster and share historical interest and knowledge within the district. |
The Society was formed in 1983 as a result of efforts to save the Tower Hill Common School from demolition.The fully restored School is now the Society's headquarters.
The Society aims to compile and keep an historical record of the district and work towards the establishment of a museum.
The Society holds a collection of historical documents and photographs and other information which is of assistance to those carrying out historical or genealogical research.
