Tower Hill Common School




The Koroit and District Historical Society Inc. aims to foster and share historical interest and knowledge within the district.

The Society was formed in 1983 as a result of efforts to save the Tower Hill Common School from demolition.The fully restored School is now the Society's headquarters.
The Society aims to compile and keep an historical record of the district and work towards the establishment of a museum.
The Society holds a collection of historical documents and photographs and other information which is of assistance to those carrying out historical or genealogical research.

Opening Times: The second Sunday of each month - 1pm to 4pm and during the Lake School of Celtic Music Song and Dance (first week in January), Koroit Swap Meet (March), Koroit Irish Festival (April/May), Koroit Show (Nov) and by appointment at other times
